Welcome to the homepage of the Radovljica Festival, the oldest early music festival in Slovenia. With ten concerts taking place in Radovljica and Ljubljana between 9 and 24 August, this year's festival will present a broad spectrum of music, from reconstructions of musical performances from before the beginnings of musical notation to Schubert's Winterreise with fortepiano accompaniment. In addition to this, one of the programmes will also feature contemporary works written under the influence of medieval music. We have invited well-known musicians and ensembles, such as Andrew Lawrence-King, Manfredo Kraemer, Sequentia, Trio Mediaeval and Zefiro, but also young promising ensembles. Noted Slovenian musicians will participate at three concerts, and we will witness the first concert appearance of Harmonia Antiqua Labacensis, a new international ensemble based in Slovenia.

Visitors from Ljubljana and Kranj can take the free festival bus.

Ljubljana, Kongresni trg at 6.15 pm.
Kranj, opposite the Creina Hotel at 7 pm.

Return to Kranj and Ljubljana from the Radovljica bus station after each concert.

On 19 August, visitors from Radovljica can take the free bus service which leaves for Ljubljana from the Radovljica bus station at 6.15 pm, stops at the Creina Hotel in Kranj at 6.45 pm, and returns there after the concert.
